Alphonso Davies has already made feelings clear on potential Man Utd transfer

Alphonso Davies has refused to be drawn on his future, with the latest side linked with the in-demand Canadian.

Davies, who has been used at left-back for his club but can also play further forward, joined Bayern in 2018 after beginning his career with MLS side Vancouver Whitecaps. have long been admirers of the 23-year-old, but United also have him on their radar.

United have reportedly been , potentially with a view to an approach in the new year. Davies' contract expires in the summer, meaning he will be free to talk to potential suitors in January.

Despite his contract situation, the full-back has continued to play regularly under Bayern boss . When it comes to his longer-term future, though, he has made it clear he's remaining fully-focused on what happens on the pitch.

"As of now, my full focus is to stay healthy and to play the game with the club I'm with right now," Davies told ESPN in early October. "I'm not focused on what's going on in the future.

"I'm just focusing on staying healthy and helping my team win. My team make me feel valued. The whole Bayern community make me feel valued. I see that each and every day."

Bayern welcomed Davies back into the fold in 2022 after . He missed a number of weeks for club and country after signs of mild myocarditis were discovered, but returned in time for Bayern's quarter-final exit and title run-in.
