Time is ticking if you want to take advantage of a . The broadband supplier has now confirmed that one of its best-ever deals is ending with the massive price cut coming to a close tomorrow, October 23. There are two reasons why this offer is worth checking out. Firstly Sky says this is its 'lowest-ever' price for its internet package with customers needing to pay just £29 to access the plan.

The second thing to note is that this low price includes very fast 500Mbps downloads - at that rate, you can download movies in under a minute. Stick with ageing copper cables and you'll be waiting almost 10 minutes to view the same movie.

If you look at Sky's other deals you can see why this is such a bargain.

Sign up for slower 75Mbps and you'll pay £25 per month, Sky's 100Mbps broadband is priced at £27 and 150Mbps costs £29 - that's the same as 500Mbps downloads from the firm.

This eye-catching deal was announced along with confirmation that Sky has now implemented its so-called "One Touch Switch" process.

As the name suggests, the update means new customers simply tell Sky they'd like to join. Once that's done the firm then does the rest - the team will even tell the current supplier (such as Virgin or BT) that you are leaving with the switchover aimed at being seamless.

Speaking about the "One Touch Switch" news, Amber Pine, Managing Director of Connectivity, Sky Broadband said: “We know switching broadband providers is a big decision for our customers, so we’re making it easier than ever.

"As the UK’s only major provider with a 24/7 broadband switching support service, we can help with round the clock questions about your Sky Broadband or even change your Full Fibre installation date in the early hours of the morning!”

Along with Sky, BT’s Plusnet has also announced some new deals including getting access to a speedy 900Mbps connection for just £37.99 per month.

Despite Plusnet being owned by BT, this is a deal that BT won’t match.
