Terry Bradshaw told to retire from Fox Sports immediately after another blunder on live TV

Outrage has erupted amongst NFL fans who are now clamouring for Terry Bradshaw to step down after the Fox Sports commentator made yet another gaffe on-air.

In Sunday's broadcast, Bradshaw was responsible for narrating highlights from Week Seven's early face-offs. Things went awry when he started discussing Cleveland Browns' Nick Chubb's return - amid footage of Buffalo Bills vs Tennessee Titans.

"Nick Chubb is back from his knee injury suffered in week two of last year but it's Deshaun - whoops, wrong one," declared Bradshaw as Bills quarterback Josh Allen connected with his receiver for a third-quarter touchdown.

Curt Menefee swiftly corrected the mix-up, asserting: "This is Amari Cooper for Buffalo getting the touchdown. His Bills debut, Buffalo rolling past Tennessee 34-10 the final there."

This slip isn't Bradshaw’s sole recent awkward moment; he had previously given a poorly aged opinion about Russell Wilson and bungled over a comment during Sean Payton's time and a mildy befuddling segment involving Tom Brady.

Moving to guide Bradshaw back on course, Menefee prompted him regarding the Browns-Bengals highlight: "Now Cincinnati at Cleveland. There's Nick Chubb bouncing [back] from that knee injury last year.."

During a frantic piece of the show, he just about managed to quip on Chubb's contribution before the live feed cut abruptly to a dire moment.

"There's Chubb coming inside," he said, right when Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson took a terrible hit resulting in an Achilles injury. Co-host Menefee jumped in with the grim details: "And that's a bad one, Deshaun Watson. You can see that right Achilles looking to snap right there."

Attempting to salvage the segment later on, Bradshaw turned his attention to the London game which saw the Jacksonville Jaguars take on the New England Patriots.

"Trevor Lawrence trying to get two in a row. That is for Jacksonville as they stayed over that week," he mentioned, commending Lawrence's endeavour and Brian Thomas's impressive reception. "There he is back looking good pass protection, firing down the middle of the football field looking for Brian Thomas. That is a perfectly thrown ball. Great concentration by Thomas. 58-yard gain."

Yet Bradshaw slipped up once again while trying to commentate on Jaguars running back Tank Bigsby's score.

"Then Tank Br- Bigsby takes it in from one yard out. Jacksonville now with two victories on the year, 32-16 over New England," he finished, aiming to round off the coverage.

The latest gaffes from Bradshaw sparked a heated reaction on social media, with many calling for the sports personality faced calls to hang up his mic.

Online comments pulled no punches, with one user saying: "Amazing they haven't pushed these fossils into retirement years ago. Who's tuning in for Bradshaw," while another added: "He should retire from the gig. You're my fav Steelers QB, but it's time to turn off the mic."
