HPSC Recruitment 2025: Haryana Public Service Commission (HPSC) has started the registration process for recruitment to the posts of Assistant Environmental Engineer (Group-B) in Haryana State Pollution Control Board. Eligible candidates can apply online from 21 August 2025 on the official website hpsc.gov.in. A total of 29 vacancies will be filled through this recruitment drive.

The last date for application has been fixed as 10 September 2025 till 5:00 PM. Application fee can also be deposited till the same day and time. The age limit of the candidate will be checked on 01 August 2025, while educational qualification, experience, and other qualifications will be determined on the basis of the last date of application, i.e., 10 September 2025.

Stages of the recruitment process
The recruitment process of the commission is usually completed in three stages. First, the screening test, followed by the subject knowledge test, and finally the interview. But if the number of candidates applying is very high, then the commission can adopt different methods to shortlist the candidates before deciding the next step.

Methods of shortlisting

Candidates can be shortlisted on many grounds, such as percentage of marks obtained in the minimum educational qualification, weightage of marks in different qualifications, presence of desirable qualifications, higher education, or more experience in the relevant field. Apart from this, screening tests and subject knowledge tests can also be conducted.

Who can apply?

The candidate should have a first-class full-time regular graduate degree in Civil, Chemical, or Environmental Engineering and should have studied Hindi / Sanskrit up to matriculation or higher class. The age limit has been fixed between 18 and 42 years as on 1 August 2025, while reserved category candidates will be given relaxation in the maximum age limit as per rules.

The pay scale for the selected candidates for this recruitment is Level-9, which will be from Rs 53,100 to Rs 1,67,800 per month.
