The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) released the Civil Services Mains Exam results on November 11, 2025. A total of 2,736 candidates have qualified this year and will now be called for the interview round.
The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the UPSC Mains Result 2025. Candidates who appeared for the Civil Services Mains Exam 2025 can now check their results on the Commission's official website, upsc.gov.in. This year, a total of 2,736 candidates have been declared successful in the Mains Exam and will now be called for the interview round.
The UPSC Mains Exam was conducted from August 22 to August 31, 2025, in two shifts: the first shift from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM and the second shift from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM. This examination will fill 979 positions.
All candidates who successfully pass the main examination will now be called for a personality test (interview), which will be held at the Union Public Service Commission's headquarters at Dholpur House, Shahjahan Road, New Delhi. The interview dates will be announced soon on the Commission's website. Candidates will be required to download their e-summon letters from the website.

Candidates who qualify for the interview will be required to fill out the Detailed Application Form (DAF-II) online. Without submitting the DAF-II, candidates will not be eligible for the interview. The UPSC Civil Services Examination is conducted in three stages: Preliminary Examination, Main Examination, and Interview. Candidates who successfully complete all these stages are appointed to prestigious services such as the IAS, IPS, IFS, and IRS.
How to check the result?
To check the result, candidates must visit the upsc.gov.in website and click on the "Civil Services Mains Result 2025" link. A PDF file of the result will then open, containing the names and roll numbers of the selected candidates. Candidates can download it and print it for future reference.
