A smart phone with strong 4G/5G connection is very important especially when you are travelling outside the city limits to a new tourist destination. However, not every corner of the country has good connectivity especially 5G, hence you need to make some contingency plans. For example: you can download offline maps, or buy a physical copy of the local area’s map, etc. There is another way you can make these contingency plans i.e. using TRAI’s newly launched signal coverage tool. The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India’s signal coverage tool provides you with a comprehensive information about which locations have 4G and 5G and which operators are active here.
All the four telecom operators’ coverage map can be seen through the TRAI’s signal coverage tool– Airtel, BSNL, JIO and Vodafone Idea (Vi)
Read below to know more about how to use the TRAI’s signal coverage tool for these four mobile operators.
