According to Saudi Gazette, The Ministry of Interior has also announced that, effective April 23, expatriates without a valid Hajj permit are prohibited from entering Makkah. Exceptions are made for residents with Makkah-issued residency permits or official work authorizations. Security checkpoints have been established to enforce this regulation, and violators will be turned back. These measures are part of Saudi Arabia's efforts to maintain the sanctity of the Hajj pilgrimage and ensure the well-being of all participants.
