A few days ago, actress Song Da Eun made headlines after she shared a video of the ‘Set Me Free’ hitmaker dropping a surprise visit to her on TikTok. As per the Korea JoongAng Daily report, Jimin’s agency, HYBE (formerly Bighit), has seemingly confirmed that the two were in a relationship many years ago.
“The artist and the individual in question were once acquainted with mutual affection in the past, but that was several years ago, and they are not in a relationship at present. We ask that you refrain from making reckless speculations about their private lives..” part of the statement read.
This is the first time the agency has officially confirmed a dating rumour relating to BTS. In the past, members Jungkook and V (Taehyung) have been embroiled in relationship rumours, but the agency refused to respond to those.
In the viral clip, Song Da Eun is shown standing by an elevator. As the doors slide open, Jimin walks out, only to be met with her warm and lively welcome.
