Ekadashi has a special place in the faith and traditions of Hinduism, and when it comes to Kamika Ekadashi of the month of Sawan, its sanctity increases even more. This is the day when devotees worship Lord Vishnu with their heart, so that all the obstacles in their life are removed and happiness and prosperity remain.

Like every month, Ekadashi comes twice on this holy date - once in Krishna Paksha and once in Shukla Paksha, that is, a total of 24 times in a year. But Ekadashi of Krishna Paksha of Sawan is called "Kamika Ekadashi". This time, this fast will be observed on 21 July 2025. The special thing is that this is the first Ekadashi of Chaturmas, which increases its importance even more.

Auspicious yogas formed on Kamika Ekadashi: This time, rare coincidences like Vriddhi Yoga, Dhruva Yoga, Sarvarth Siddhi Yoga, and Amrit Siddhi Yoga are being formed on Kamika Ekadashi, which make it extremely fruitful.
Worship method:
- Get up before sunrise and take a bath.
- Light a lamp in the temple of the house and purify the atmosphere.
- Anoint Lord Vishnu with Gangajal.
- Offer flowers and Tulsi leaves to him.
- If possible, keep a fast and keep the mind satvik.
- Perform aarti and offer satvik bhog - especially Tulsi leaves, as Lord Vishnu does not accept bhog without Tulsi.
- Worship Goddess Lakshmi so that Lakshmi remains in the house.

- Remember Lord Vishnu throughout the day, chant mantras and remain immersed in devotion.
