A threat note was discovered on board IndiGo flight 6E 5324, which was en route from Jaipur (JAI) to Mumbai (BOM). As a precautionary measure, a full emergency was declared at Mumbai Airport at 8:43 PM on Monday. The flight landed safely at 8:50 PM. Airport operations remain unaffected.
The aircraft landed at a remote bay, and full emergency procedures were activated. According to sources, a bomb threat letter was found in the aircraft’s lavatory. The number of people on board was not immediately known.
