PM Modi distributes more than 51,000 letters to newly inducted recruits at the 16th Rozgar Mela

Piyush Goyal, Minister of Commerce and Industry, Govt. of India distributed 183 appointment letters to candidates in the august presence of Mangal Prabhat Lodha, Minister of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, Govt of Maharashtra, Prateek Goswami, Additional General Manager, Central Railway and other dignitaries at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Auditorium, Mumbai on 12.07.2025 as part of the 16th Rozgar Mela.

The 16th Rozgar Mela was held at 47 locations across the country. A total of 297 appointment letters to newly recruited candidates were distributed at functions held at Mumbai Division and Pune Division of Central Railway which included appointment letters to 183 candidates at Mumbai and 114 candidates at Pune.

Rozgar Mela is a step towards fulfilment of Prime Minister’s commitment to accord highest priority to employment generation. The Rozgar Mela will play a significant role in providing meaningful opportunities to the youth for their empowerment and participation in nation building. More than 10 lakh recruitment letters have been issued so far through the Rozgar Melas across the country.
