Thane: A 15-year-old boy was taken into custody for allegedly murdering a 22-year-old co-worker in Thane's Bhiwandi. The incident took place on Wednesday afternoon in Surai village of Mankoli in Bhiwandi. The victim, Kaisar Asgar Ali (22) and the accused juvenile were both employed as carpenters on a house construction site.
According to a Lokmat Times report quoting Senior Inspector Bharat Kamat of Narpoli Police Station, the two got into a heated argument over household chores, specifically cooking and washing utensils. The quarrel quickly escalated, and in a fit of rage, the 15-year-old allegedly attacked Kaisar with a ply cutter, causing severe injuries to his shoulder and neck.
Case Filed, Accused Sent To Juvenile Correction Home
Kaisar was rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment but succumbed to his injuries in the evening. A case was registered against the juvenile under Section 103(1) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, which pertains to murder. The accused has been sent to a juvenile correction home in Bhiwandi as the investigation continues.
Headless Body Of Man Found Near Bushes In Ambernath
Meanwhile, in another gruesome case, a headless male body was discovered early Thursday morning in Nalambi village, Ambernath. The body, believed to be that of a man aged between 25 and 28 years, was found in a bushy area near the village at around 8 AM. Locals on a morning walk stumbled upon the horrifying sight and immediately alerted the authorities.
The Kalyan Taluka Police, along with a forensic team, arrived at the scene and collected samples including blood-stained soil and other evidence. The body was sent to Rukhmani Bai Hospital in Kalyan for a post-mortem examination. Thane Rural Superintendent DS Swami also visited the site, and four police teams, including the local crime branch, have been formed to investigate the case and locate the severed head.
Senior Inspector Suresh Kadam stated that despite deploying drone surveillance and dog squads, the missing head could not be found by evening. CCTV footage from nearby hotels and resorts is being reviewed to track the suspect. An FIR under murder charges was registered against an unknown person. The identity of the deceased and motive behind the crime remain unknown as investigations continue.
