There are days/weeks where Im able to train and run and it feels so good, especially when I first started, I noticed a huge improvement it was the best I had ever been and I wasn't on any medication."

Adam went on to say that he has noticed when he was "feeling good" that he had a tendency to "over do it" when it came to training. He said: "When you're in so much pain and then you get a bit of breathing space and the pain eases off a little you can't help it, it felt so good being able to run again."

The actor then said that he "physically can't carry on with the pain anymore". He wrote: "It's just getting me down and we don't want that now do we? I've learnt to laugh a lot of things off but I can't hide the pain am feeling no more so thought I'd share my [journey] as I know it helps others and just by writing this down and sharing it with you has helped me."
Adam also apologised to his followers for having not been "very vocal" about his experience with arthritis lately. He told them in the recent post on Instagram: "[I'm] just struggling and trying to find my way through it, so it's hard to talk about when your in pain because you just feel so helpless."
