It has four cleaning modes and can detect when it's operating on carpet, ramping up its suction power. At 28cm in diameter and 7.8cm in height, the easily gets under low-lying furniture and has anti-collision sensors to dodge obstacles.
The little device promises up to 120 minutes of cleaning on a single charge and scoots off to its charging station on its own. However, shoppers might note the absence of an app-based mapping functionality - a feature that competitors like the (£349.99) and (£164.99) offer for customised no-go zones.
The has more than 8,500 reviews. One commented: "Great machine. It has been a year since I purchased this vacuum cleaner. It is a great value for money.
"Cleans well, doesn't need a lot of time to charge, it's not too loud and does the job. It is a time saver and my little helper. Lefant's customer service is great. They helped me immediately when I had a problem."
Another buyer was concerned that the cleaner would be a "gimmick", but was "seriously impressed" by the "little dust gobbler's outstanding job". Adding: "This unit has far exceeded what I thought it was capable of, I would rate it 10/10. Wish I'd got one sooner, it's a game changer."
A third buyer was not happy with the suction power, saying: "It doesn't seem to have the best suction compared to our Vax vacuum, but it's good enough to just use to keep on top of it after a deep clean. Also noticed that it tends to get stuck in an area easily instead of going everywhere, but if that's the case you can just lift it and move it or control it with the app. Decent enough robot vacuum to start with before spending massive amounts of money on the bigger brands."
Another user concluded: "Amazing for hard floors. I was a bit worried that I expected too much from this little guy, but I was wrong. Battery life is approx one hour 30 minutes. Docks itself when it needs charging. Easy to schedule through the app.
"It has found so much dust from under the sofas that I didn't even know was there. Not mega loud when in operation. Really recommend for hard floors."
