German outlet Bild took no prisoners on Thursday as they dished out brutal verdicts to players. Their system works in reverse, with six being the worst score and one being the best.
The three players given a six were Kim Min-jae, described as "completely out of sorts, Raphael Guerreiro, who was called "very weak" and Dayot Upamecano as the defence was ripped apart by Barcelona.
Meanwhile, six players were given the second-worst rating of five - Alphonso Davies, Joshua Kimmich, Joao Palhinha, Michael Olise and Serge Gnabry. Manuel Neuer, Thomas Muller and Kane were given a four.
Their ratings were very complimentary of Barcelona as Pedri, Lamine Yamal and Raphinha all scored the top grade of one after a superb night for the LaLiga giants, who are managed by ex-Bayern boss Hansi Flick.
Despite the humbling, Bayern chief Max Eberl insisted , saying: "We believe in what we're doing and we will continue to defend what we're doing”
Speaking after the game, Kompany said their defeat was "not a surprise" because Barcelona were a top team but said his players would learn from their "clear defeat".
"There are no excuses. What's important is that we learn from this game. This game won't decide our season. Why there was such a big difference between the first and second half is something we need to look at."
