Former Manchester United boss Ralf Rangnick has been rushed to hospital for emergency surgery after a routine operation went wrong. The Austria manager went under the knife to fix wear and tear on his ankle before the wound left in the aftermath became inflamed.
Rangnick, 67, is said to be still in hospital but doing well.
Austrian FA spokesman Thomas Trukesitz insisted: "Ralf Rangnick is doing well. Nobody needs to have any concerns about his health."
