Cassie Ventura has broken her silence and returned to social media after testifying against her ex boyfriend Sean 'P. Diddy' Combs in May this year.
Shortly after appearing in court to give a candid testimony about her relationship with the disgraced music mogul, Cassie gave birth to her third child with husband Alex Fine and she stepped away from posting on social media for some time.
Now, Cassie has broken her silence and shared a light-hearted post about motherhood.
The former singer, 38, who reportedly dated P. Diddy between 2007 and 2018 and suffered physical abuse during the relationship, posted a message on Instagram earlier this week, referencing the perils of being a mum to a newborn baby.

Cassie reposted a meme video which saw a man taking breaks from dancing. The caption of that video read: "When your old self is coming out postpartum."
And in reference to that post, Cassie was quick to jump on and add: "Factual. Little by little. Lol."
Cassie gave birth to her third child in May, just two weeks after she bravely appeared in court and gave harrowing testimony about her relationship with the music mogul.
With a heavily pregnant bump, the former hitmaker gave accounts of the alleged abuse she endured during their relationship. A year after her split with P.Diddy, Cassie went on to find love with her husband Alex.
The couple are already parents to Frankie Stone, five, and Sunny Cinco, who is four.
In March Cassie revealed that she had given birth to a son, as part of a special birthday post to her husband.
At the time she wrote: "You’ve taken care of me and my heart like no other, you’re hands down the best girl dad and I’m SO excited to see you now become a father to OUR SON!"
Since the trial came to an end, Sean 'P. Diddy' Combs was found guilty on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution but was found not guilty of racketeering and sex trafficking.
However, according to reports, each count of transportation carries an estimated sentence of 10 years, which means the rapper could face a maximum of up to 20 years in prison.
In July, a solicitor representing Cassie, Douglas H. Wigdor released a statement that read: "This entire criminal process started when our client Cassie Ventura had the courage to file her civil complaint in November 2023."
He added: "Although the jury did not find Combs guilty of sex trafficking Cassie beyond a reasonable doubt, she paved the way for a jury to find him guilty of transportation to engage in prostitution,” the statement shared with Us Weekly read."
He continued: "By coming forward with her experience, Cassie has left an indelible mark on both the entertainment industry and the fight for justice. We must repeat — with no reservation — that we believe and support our client who showed exemplary courage throughout this trial."
The statement concluded saying: "She displayed unquestionable strength and brought attention to the realities of powerful men in our orbit and the misconduct that has persisted for decades without repercussion.
