Emily Atack enjoys romantic getaway with husband to be after engagement announcement

Just days after announcing her sweet engagement to fiancé Alistair Garner, Inbetweeners star Emily Atack shared some gorgeous snaps of her romantic holiday to the French Pyrenees, including a stunning bikini snap. Emily, who welcomed son Barney in June last year, showed off her figure in a black bikini top paired with some colourful bikini bottoms as she gave fans a glimpse into their holiday in the sun.

In one sweet snap, hubby-to-be Alistair could be seen enjoying an ice lolly, while another showed Emily kicking back with a glass of wine as she chilled by the pool. Emily captioned one photo ‘Could stay forever’, while captioning another ‘Heaven on earth’.

The holiday snaps come just days after she announced her engagement and was seen grinning from ear to ear. Emily revealed their big news with a happy image where the duo are cuddling while her stunning diamond ring is on full show.

She captioned the photo “It's Friday, I'm in love”, as her friends and followers rushed to send their congratulatory messages. TV presenter Laura Whitmore penned: "Yassssss! Delighted for you both you cuties xxx”, while Fleur East gushed: "Woooo! Let’s gooo!!! Congrats”.

The 35-year-old Rivals star welcomed her baby boy with partner Dr. Alistair Garner last year and recently celebrated his first birthday. Emily threw a sweet birthday party for her son and Celebrity Juice star Leigh Francis, 52, was among those in attendance.

In an emotional Instagram caption, the actress and comedian wrote: "Happy 1st birthday to our son Barney James Garner. The Baby Barn Owl."

She continued: "I’ve dreamt of you my whole life. It was always you. I love you beyond words, our beautiful, BEAUTIFUL boy. You are so cherished my heart could burst."

Emily and Alistair have been in a relationship since 2022 and were overjoyed to welcome Barney a year ago. The couple keep their romance largely out of the spotlight but it is known that they had been friends for years before they embarked on a romance.

Emily opened up on her relationship with Alistair last year as she said she ‘couldn’t ask’ for a better partner.

She told HELLO! Magazine: “I couldn't ask for a better partner and Al is the only person on this earth that I could have done this with. It was a very difficult birth and after 12 hours of labour I ended up having an emergency caesarean, but he was so calm.'

Emily also described Alistair as her 'literal rock', adding: 'All the cliches of life become true when you fall in love and have a baby. He's my rock, but he really, literally, is my rock; I couldn't do life with anyone else but him.”
