“Todo pasa por algo” – translated from Spanish, it means “Everything happens for a reason.” This phrase, quietly written in the Instagram bio of 17-year-old tennis player Radhika Yadav, has now taken on a haunting significance.
Radhika’s Instagram account was private — just 69 followers and 6 posts. But the Spanish quote in her bio has sparked questions after her tragic and shocking murder on July 10, allegedly at the hands of her own father, Deepak Yadav, who reportedly fired four bullets in under three minutes.
A few days before the murder, Radhika had deleted her public social media presence, and now, the cryptic words in her bio are being viewed through a different lens — were they just a motivational quote or a reflection of her emotional reality?
Her Silent StrugglesRadhika’s friends and coach described her as a spirited, ambitious athlete who wanted to pursue tennis professionally and dreamt of studying abroad. Yet, her freedom was tightly controlled. Her friend Himanshika Rajput, in an emotional video, revealed how Radhika wasn’t allowed to wear shorts, talk to boys, or live on her own terms — restrictions that were deeply conflicting for a young sportsperson with global aspirations.
One of Radhika’s reels — featuring actor Inaamulhaq — drew unwanted attention and inappropriate comments, reportedly upsetting her father and adding tension at home.
Could Her iPhone Hold the Answers? With her iPhone still locked, investigators are now turning to DITECH, a digital forensics agency, in hopes of recovering deleted messages, notes, or chats that might reveal more about the final days of her life — perhaps even a direct indication of her fears, thoughts, or plans.
That simple quote — “Todo pasa por algo” — might have once reflected hope, strength, or acceptance. But today, it reads more like a silent scream. Did Radhika truly believe that every event in her life had a deeper meaning? Or was it her quiet way of saying she was holding on — trying to find purpose in her pain?
