believes there are 'one or two' players in the who are unpopular with fans at venues across the country. The former world champion is already guaranteed a spot in the playoffs at the O2 Arena later this month. He currently sits third in the standings with 24 points and will be hoping to go all the way and win the tournament for the very first time.
This year's is nearing its conclusion with just one more night of the regular season to go. Before the start of the tournament, there was plenty of noise about the line-up with several big-name players missing out. Many fans criticised the inclusion of players like Nathan Aspinall and Peter Wright, who were coming off the back of underwhelming years.

Price also fell into that bracket, given that he finished seventh in the in 2024. He is often booed at events and sometimes plays the role of pantomime villain, but has managed to silence the doubters by returning to somewhere near his best.
As for his own views on this year's line-up, Price believes that some of his fellow players are much less popular than others.
"Maybe there's one or two characters in there now that the fans probably don't favour, so they look to go somewhere else," he told .
"If they want to cheer me on and help me get over the winning line. I'm happy with that. I think there's a couple of characters in the Premier League that some venues don't really like as well."
Last week, Price achieved a nine-dart finish during his match against Stephen Bunting, which ended in defeat. He was loudly jeered throughout the night in Aberdeen but left the arena with the fans singing his name.
Before taking to the stage, he revealed that he was toying with the idea of playing with a new set of darts in a bid to improve his consistency.
"Yeah, the pressure is off, but it's still a big reward if you win the night," said Price. "It's £10,000 if you win the night, so I still want to win, but I might be using a new set of darts and next week. I'll see how I feel tomorrow.
"One game I feel like I can't miss, then the next minute I just feel like the grip isn't there. It's no loss for me to use them tomorrow on one of the biggest stages that we're going to be able to play in, under the ultimate pressure."
