They added: "With heavy use kitchen appliances like ovens and kettles leading the charge in driving up electricity bills, making simple swaps, such as using an air fryer for daily cooking, households can slash annual costs by half.
"Efficient laundry habits can make a big dent in energy bills. Waiting for a full washing machine load before hitting start potentially halves yearly expenses from £120 to £60. Similarly, taking a mindful approach to boiling the kettle, utilising only the necessary amount of water, can shave off £30 from an annual bill of £60.
