Viewers of The Assembly said the same thing just minutes into Danny Dyer's episode on Saturday night (April 26).
The popular programme invites a celebrity to field questions from a group of young people who are autistic, neurodivergent or learning disabled, with the show's description confirming that "no area is out of bounds".
Following a successful BBC pilot last year featuring Michael Sheen, the series has now transitioned to ITV for its latest episodes.
This season features stars such as Gary Lineker, David Tennant, Danny Dyer, and Jade Thirlwall taking turns in the hot seat.
In tonight's episode, EastEnders icon Danny engaged with the youngsters, answering a range of probing questions, reports .
Fans immediately flocked to X (formerly Twitter) as the episode aired, expressing their joy over the show's comeback and commending Danny for his warmth.
One viewer exclaimed: "I am SO GLAD #TheAssembly is back! Loved the Michael Sheen episode," while another shared their admiration: "The nicest, most gentle, polite man I've ever met... I just adore him."
A third fan praised: "Danny is so bloody genuine. Lovely, gentle, kind in his meeting of others. Love this!"
As the episode wrapped up, viewers continued to share their delight, with one writing: "Absolutely loved #The Assembly with @MrDDyer," and another echoing: "Just watched #TheAssembly with @MrDDyer and thought it was very moving at times."
During the heartfelt interview, Danny faced questions about his marriage, decision to send his children to private school, his relationship with his father and EastEnders exit.
He also became emotional when members of the group performed a rendition of Primal Scream's 1991 hit Movin' On Up.
Overwhelmed with emotion, Danny expressed his gratitude, saying: "It's been an honour if I'm honest. This has been very emotional, great learning about you lot, learned a bit about myself."
He continued: "I'm a bit emotional but that was f***ing amazing that tune. I will say, you better prepare yourself for a bit of fame because I think this show is going to be massive. You lot use your fame responsibly because I never. Thank you for having me."
