The M48 Severn Bridge has been closed in both directions due to high winds. Drivers were being diverted to the M4 over the Prince of Wales bridge, with delays expected in the area.
Traffic monitor Inrix says: "M48 Severn Bridge in both directions closed due to strong winds between J2 A466 Wye Valley Link Road (Chepstow) and J1 A403 (Aust)."
In its most recent update on X, The Severn Bridges, an account run by National Highways, said: "The #M48 #SevernBridge in #Gloucestershire is closed in both directions between J1 (#Aust) and J2 (#Chepstow) due to strong winds.
"Traffic is being diverted via the #M4 #PrinceofWalesBridge," it adds.
