Fugitive Zakir Naik Meets, Hugs LeT Terrorists During Pakistan Visit; Video Surfaces

New Delhi: Controversial preacher Zakir Naik, wanted in India on terrorism-related charges, was spotted meeting members of the terror group Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) during his recent visit to Pakistan. The Lashkar-e-Taiba is responsible for several terror attacks in India, including the 26/11 attack in Mumbai.Fugitive Zakir Naik met Faisal Nadeem, Muhammad Harris Dhar, and Let commander Muzammil Iqbal Hashmi - all of whom are labelled "international" terrorists by the US 2008. Naik had gone to Paksitan on September 30 for a month-long stay as a state guest.As per a footage accessed by Times Now, Naik can be seen meeting the dreaded terrorists at Lahore's Badshahi Mosque, where he addressed a gathering of over 150,000 people. The event was heavily secured by Lahore police.

Naik, who is currently abroad, is also being probed by the National Investigation Agency (NIA) for his involvement in terror activities. During his Pakistan visit, a video went viral in which he could be heard saying that an unmarried woman cannot be respected in society. According to Naik, if there are no single men available, then such a woman should marry an already married man to be respected or she should be referred to as "public property.""There is no way an unmarried woman can be respected. So, they have two options. First option is to get married to a man who already has a wife or she will become a 'bazaari aurat'. She will become a public property. I don't have a better word. So if I present this scenario to an unmarried woman, any respectable woman will opt for the first option," Naik said in the viral video.Naik was born in Mumbai but he fled India in the wake of July 1, 2016 bombing at a cafe in Dhaka, Bangladesh. He is accused of allegedly spreading hatred among different communities through his Peace TV and social media networks, where he has over 20 million followers. He is stated to be residing in Malaysia at the moment.Over 20 people were killed in the blast in Dhaka and one of the bombers had reportedly claimed to have been inspired by Naik’s speeches. Some of the youths who joined the Islamic State, had allegedly said that they were attracted to the Middle-East’s deadliest terror group after meeting the controversial preacher.
