Kolhapur: Senior Shiv Sena (UBT) politicians and MLA Sunil Prabhu said on Monday that Uddhav Thackeray and Raj Thackeray are fully capable of understanding the sentiments of the Marathi manoos and will accordingly decide whether or not to form an alliance.

Speaking at a meeting with Shiv Sena (UBT) functionaries from Kolhapur, Prabhu expressed confidence in the party's resurgence. "The party will rise from the ashes and win the local body elections," he said.

When asked about the possibility of an alliance between Uddhav and Raj Thackeray, Prabhu said, "As a Marathi manoos and a Shiv Sainik, most of us are in favour of the alliance. But both have the ability to gauge what's going on in the minds of Marathi manoos, who are eagerly waiting for the alliance. Also, whether to come together or not, only both Thackerays will decide, there will be no place for a third person to intervene."

Urging local leaders to begin groundwork, Prabhu emphasized the importance of grassroots engagement. "Shiv Sena's worker is known for rushing to help those in need. Power comes and goes but our workers ensure they are the first to reach out to people in distress. This differentiates us from others," he said.
