Mysuru: The NEET (UG) test will be held in 20 examination centres in the district on May 4. Over 7,700 students are appearing for the exam. On Tuesday, DC G Lakshmikanth Reddy held a meeting to review the preparations for the exam. He instructed officials to make all necessary preparations to conduct the exam smoothly and systematically without any lapses. "7,709 students will appear for the NEET exam in 20 examination centres in Mysuru district, and necessary steps should be taken to ensure that the NEET exam is conducted smoothly and fairly," he said.
The NEET exam is conducted for those seeking admission to medical and dental courses. The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducts the exam, and the officials appointed should work according to the guidelines given by them, he instructed officials. He directed police to make elaborate security arrangements near the examination centres.
PM Shri Kendriya Vidyalaya principals Nutan Punj and Mithilesh Kumar, and officials from police and other departments were present in the meeting.
