Man beaten to death for shouting 'Pakistan Zindabad' during cricket match in Karnataka
At least 15 people were arrested after a man was fatally beaten by a mob of over 25 for allegedly shouting "Pakistan Zindabad" during a local cricket match in Kudupu village, near Mangaluru. The assault took place on Sunday near the Bhatra Kallurti temple. The unidentified victim was attacked with sticks, sustaining severe injuries that led to internal bleeding. He later died in hospital. Initially treated as an unnatural death, a post-mortem on April 28 confirmed he died from multiple blunt force injuries and lack of medical care, police said.
