The Maharashtra State Board Of Secondary & Higher Secondary Education, Pune (MSBSHSE) announced the result for Maharashtra class 10th exams 2025 today, May 13. Sharad Gosavi, chairman MSBSHSE, Pune announced the results in a press conference held at the board headquarters. As per the information released by the board, the overall pass percentage has been recorded at 94.10%.
Following the past trends, girls have outperformed boys yet again in Maharashtra board class 12th exams, with a pass rate of 96.14%, while boys stand at a pass rate of 92.31%. This year, 8,23,611 boys and 7,22,968 girls had appeared for the exam of which 7,60,325 boys and 6,95,108 girls passed the exam.
Overall performance in Maharashtra board class 12th examsHaving a look at this year’s result, the overall pass percentage for regular students in Maharashtra SSC results is recorded at 94.10%. The pass rate has dipped from 95.81% last year.
Following the past trends, female candidates have yet again emerged to be the better performers by 3.83% in Maharashtra board SSC exams. Out of the 23,954 repeater students who appeared for the exam, 9,448 successfully passed, resulting in a pass percentage of 39.44%.
Best performing district in Maharashtra SSC exams 2025The Maharashtra board has also released the district wise performance for SSC exams 2025. Check district wise overall pass percentage in Maharashtra SSC exams below:
This year, exams were conducted in 66 subjects across 8 different mediums, starting 10 days earlier than in previous years. A total of 5,130 exam centres were set up statewide.
To ensure fairness, 271 flying squads were deployed across Maharashtra. Additionally, recognition of 37 schools designated as exam centres, where instances of malpractice were reported in 2025, has been permanently revoked
