Ashish shared on his Instagram stories that he plans to announce the title and star cast of his upcoming project tomorrow, coinciding with Akshay Tritiya. In his recent updates, he caught fans’ attention by writing, “Dosto…,” followed by, “Kal Akshay tritiya ka shubh Mauka hai..toh…,” and finally teasing, “Title aur star cast announce ho jae?”

Emotional Response Amid Controversy

In the wake of the India’s Got Latent controversy, Chanchlani shared an emotional message with his fans, visibly upset by the situation. He assured everyone that he would face the challenges head-on and asked for their continued support as he works to overcome this difficult phase. This marked Ashish’s first public response following the uproar caused by YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia’s controversial “s** with parents” comment on Samay Raina’s show, India’s Got Latent.

Legal Proceedings: Supreme Court and Bail

In February 2025, Ashish Chanchlani approached the Supreme Court to request the quashing or transfer of a First Information Report filed against him in Guwahati. The case, linked to controversial comments made on the roast comedy show India’s Got Latent, names him among several accused, with Ranveer Allahbadia as the primary suspect. Meanwhile, the Guwahati High Court granted Ashish interim bail during his anticipatory bail hearing, instructing him to appear before the investigating officer within ten days.
