Anushka Sharma, the Indian actress and the daughter of Colonel (retired) Ajay Kumar Sharma, shared a post about being grateful to the Indian Armed Forces for protecting and ensuring the country’s security during the difficult times, and added a heartfelt note of thanks to their families for the sacrifices as well.
Anushka Sharma's emotional experience Sharma once shared how being a family member of an Army officer was tough during war-like situations. Her father served as an officer in every war since 1982, including the Kargil War and Operation Bluestar. In a 2012 interview with us, Anushka said, “Kargil was a tough one. I was too young at that time, but I was scared of seeing my mother.”
“She would always have the news channel switched on throughout the day and would get upset when casualties were announced,” she added.

Revealing that she can even talk to him about the things she can’t with anyone, Sharma said, “I take pride in saying that I am an army officer’s daughter even more than being an actor.”
