Jos Buttler showcased exceptional wicketkeeping skills with a remarkable diving catch to dismiss Vipraj Nigam during Match 35 of IPL 2025 between Gujarat Titans and Delhi Capitals at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. The 34-year-old wicketkeeper's stunning catch came as the Titans fielded first in the match.
The dismissal occurred when Prasidh Krishna delivered a back-of-a-length ball on middle and leg. Vipraj attempted to guide it towards the third-man region for a boundary but instead found Buttler, who executed a full-stretch dive to his right to complete the catch.

The wicket put Krishna on a hat-trick opportunity, though Donovan Ferreira managed to survive it with a leg bye.
Despite this impressive catch, Buttler has experienced difficulties in his wicketkeeping duties this season. Earlier in the tournament, he dropped a straightforward catch off Phil Salt during GT's match against Royal Challengers Bengaluru at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium.
In that instance, Mohammed Siraj bowled a short delivery, and Salt's edge carried to Buttler, but the ball slipped through his gloves and hit his midriff.
Another notable miss came in the match against Lucknow Super Giants at the Ekana Stadium, where Buttler failed to hold onto a chance from Rishabh Pant, with Siraj again being the unfortunate bowler.
Buttler's IPL journey began with the Mumbai Indians before he became an integral part of the Rajasthan Royals. Following his release by the Royals before the mega auction in Jeddah last year, Gujarat Titans acquired his services for Rs 15.75 crore.
