Send Push
Former WWE star Jinder Mahal recently talked about his fun road trips with Drew McIntyre during their time in the 3MB group. Jinder and McIntyre were in a team known more for their jokes than their wrestling. Mahal, now known as Raj Dhesi , recently shared memories of their travels and hinted that their releases from WWE around the same time might not have been a coincidence.

Here’s everything you need to know about what Jinder Mahal shared regarding Drew McIntyre

On the "PWInsider Elite" podcast, Jinder Mahal talked about the old days and remembered traveling with his friend and former 3MB teammate, Drew McIntyre.

Raj Dhesi said:

"We're at somewhere in Texas for 'Raw' on a Monday night," Dhesi recalled. "And normally after 'Raw,' you make the drive, so you're already in the town for 'SmackDown' on the Tuesday. For some reason me and Drew decided to stay back and party. We're like, 'We'll just make the drive tomorrow.'"

Dhesi shared that after a night out following "Raw," both he and McIntyre woke up late the next day and rushed to get to the next city. He mentioned they didn’t pay attention to how much gas was left in their rental car, which ended up leaving them stranded in east Texas with nothing but "cacti on the side of the road."

Dhesi continued :

"So now we're panicking, "Anyway, we call a gas station, somehow convinced them to take a Jerry can, fill it with gas, drive it to us, and 'We'll pay you a hundred bucks.' ... It was enough to get us to the gas station and pump up, and we showed up to TV a few hours late."

3MB, the funny group that also included Heath Slater, broke up when both Dhesi and McIntyre were let go during a big WWE talent layoff in June 2014. However, after some personal growth and time spent working hard in the gym, both wrestlers made their way back to WWE—Dhesi in 2016 and McIntyre in 2017. Dhesi even became an unexpected WWE Champion but was released again in April 2024.

Raj Dhesi is now an independent wrestler and is gaining good recognition in the independent circuit. Dhesi recently said that after his release from WWE, he won’t stop wrestling and will continue working in the independent scene. Meanwhile, Drew McIntyre remains in the spotlight in WWE, with his recent rivalry with CM Punk being a major topic for months. McIntyre and Punk faced off in a brutal Hell in a Cell match at Bad Blood 2024 , where Punk seriously injured McIntyre and came out victorious.
