Liam Payne detailed having 'no way out' on unreleased album that told 'story of his life'

Liam Payne was set to release new music which referenced having "no way out", according to reports.

tragically died this week aged 31 after falling from the third floor of a hotel in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Police are said to have been called to reports at the hotel of a "man acting aggressively at the hotel who could be under the effect of drink or drugs". It's believed that Liam fell from around 13 or 14 metres and suffered "very serious injuries incompatible with life."

Liam was recently, with guests at the hotel where the star died on Wednesday claiming the The former star reportedly left behind an unreleased album, which was pencilled in for release earlier this year.

Reports have claimed his diary-like album was hit by a string of delays as Liam was admitted to hospital twice with kidney problems. The album's lead single, Teardrops, was released in March yet the record was expected to be Liam's most powerful yet. According to one of the unreleased tracks features the lyrics: "Everyone is talking. I can’t process this now, I got no way out, no way out.

“I still got a heavy weight on my back. Wish that I could brush it off just like that.” A source told the publication: "Liam was always working on songs on his laptop and was in the process of setting up a home studio in Miami but the record was essentially done. Most of the tracks were heard by the label and played to his team.

“Lyrically it’s heavy but Liam was really proud of it and was keen to open up so others going through similar things didn’t feel alone.” Liam previously spoke about the album as he said in March: "Every one of these songs is a story from my life. For the first time you really get a picture of what it was like for me each day of making this record like this. This album is literally this last year for me, how I was feeling on those days is each record."

In the wake of his heartbreaking death, celebrities and to the Strip That Down singer. Universal Music Group wrote on X, formerly known as : "We are devastated by the tragic passing of Liam Payne. His legacy will live on through his music and the countless fans he inspired and who adored him. We send our deepest condolences to Liam’s family and loved ones."

According to the Liam was in the days preceding his death, with a source telling the publication: “Liam's advance was massive and he didn't recoup [it]. Out of all of the boys, Liam was on the wrong path musically.” Having kickstarted his career with One Direction back in 2010, Liam was originally signed to Sony while the band were still performing.

Following their decision to disband, Liam secured a solo deal with rival record company Capitol Records in July 2016. The label is a subsidiary of Universal, but in the company's recent reshuffle he came under the main label. Teardrops didn't make it to the charts and it was reported earlier this month that Liam's manager Roger left his role earlier this year. "Liam had been doing really well on his second album but now it's completely on pause," a source told at the time. "Liam is telling people now he has no idea if it'll ever be released."
